Anitta – No Meu Talento Music Video

In early 2015, Anitta was in full transition mode. She’d already proven she was more than a one-hit wonder, and her Ritmo Perfeito album had shown fans a more polished, mature version of the girl from Honório Gurgel. The music video for “No Meu Talento,” released on February 26, 2015, arrived during this shift — and captured the moment perfectly.

Featuring a guest verse from MC Guimê, one of the biggest names in Brazilian funk and hip hop at the time, the track stands out for its confidence. It was produced by Umberto Tavares and Mãozinha, who by then were regular collaborators in Anitta’s camp.

Lyrically, Anitta leans into a tone of pride. She knows her worth, and she’s not about to explain herself to anyone. The chorus talks about doing things her way, on her time. Guimê’s verse adds another layer, speaking from the perspective of someone who’s earned his spot without handouts or shortcuts. The chemistry between them is believable, they understand the world they’re singing about.

Directed by Fred Ouro Preto, the music video goes for simplicity. Most of it takes place in a mirrored studio, there are no wild locations or elaborate storylines. Just Anitta, some dancers, Guimê, and a whole lot of presence.

Guimê’s scenes match that energy. He’s posted up with his crew, delivering his verse with the same calm confidence. It’s very São Paulo street energy, and it balances out Anitta’s Rio vibe.

In 2015, Guimê was at his peak. His hit “País do Futebol” had become something of a cultural moment, and his mix of funk and rap was hitting the mainstream hard.

By featuring Guimê, Anitta pulled in a different fanbase. It also made the song feel more rooted in Brazil’s urban music scenes. The pop-funk blend had been her trademark, but with Guimê on the track, it edged a little closer to hip hop.

No Meu Talento may not have been Anitta’s biggest hit, but it captured something essential about her at that point in her career. More than anything, it showed how much she had grown, not just as a performer but as someone fully in control of her image.
