Anitta recently announced an upcoming release, revealing a collaboration with Brazilian producer Papatinho and rapper MC Cabelinho. The track is set to drop today at 9 PM (BRT).
Papatinho’s been around the Brazilian music scene for years, working with some of the biggest names and helping shape the sound we hear today. On the other hand, MC Cabelinho has lyrics that come straight from the streets, wich will help give the song a real, raw energy that fans of the genre will recognize right away.

Anitta has long supported Brazilian funk, weaving its sounds into her music while making sure people understand its deeper meaning. She often highlights how funk carioca represents more than just music, it’s a cultural movement that gives voice to communities that have historically been overlooked.
The title hints that the song isn’t just about a catchy beat; it’s meant to honor and keep alive the story of funk.
Anitta and Papatinho have been working together for a while now, and their collabs have been pretty important for Brazilian music lately. They mix funk carioca with other styles, creating fresh sounds that are both local and global.
One of their first big hits together was “Onda Diferente” back in 2019. That song also featured Ludmilla and even Snoop Dogg! The track blends funk with hip-hop vibes and really put a spotlight on Brazilian funk in an international way.
In 2020, they teamed up again on “Tá com o Papato”, a song that mixes trap and funk.
Fast forward to 2023, they released “24 Horas”, a lively collaboration with Kevin O Chris, MC Caverinha, and even Steve Aoki. The song is a blend of funk carioca and electronic beats.
Another cool one is “Que Rabão” from 2022, where they brought in YG and the late MC Mr. Catra. It’s got that mix of Brazilian funk with a touch of international rap, showing just how versatile Papatinho’s production can be.
Anitta and MC Cabelinho have collaborated on the song “Até o Céu”, released on December 20, 2019. This track is part of Anitta’s “Brasileirinha” project, where she focuses on releasing songs in Portuguese. “Até o Céu” is a summery song that showcases a casual romance between the two artists.
While we wait for the new track to drop, go check out “Onda Diferente” — one of Anitta’s best collabs with Papatinho and a perfect mix of funk and international vibes.
